Concert cancelled due to demonstrations

According to the London based Elaph, Amr had to call off his concert at the Cairo Hockey Stadium, due to take place on Thursday, because of demonstrations happening in the capital. The singing superstar said his managing team couldn't reach an agreement with the concert organizers about the appropriate security needed meaning he was forced to cancel, although fans will be reimbursed for pre-bought tickets.

However, it's not all bad news for Amr's fans as the so-called 'Father of Mediterranean Music' surprised his Facebook and Twitter followers with a special new single launched especially for Eid El Fitr. New title 'Fi Hajah Feek' (I Need Something From You), written by Tamer Hussein and composed by Amr himself, was released online on Sunday
